Aromatic and perfumed nose with rose, watermelon and strawberries. The palate is slightly middle eastern with musk, berries and spice giving way to a long and powerful finish.
As a small producer we are able to give our wines the time and attention to detail that result in wines with structure, elegance, purity of fruit and dare we say it, that bit of X factor. The fruit from Bromley Wines in sourced from select vineyards from the Bellarine Peninsula and Moorabool Valley near Geelong, Victoria. Our philosophy on wine and style stems from Darren’s experiences over the last 25 years, tasting, sampling, and drinking wines and visiting regions around the world. Experience in the retail sector and working as a winemaker in regions including Frankland River, WA, Barossa Valley SA, Chianti Italy and since 2007 in Geelong have all influenced stylistic choices for Bromley. The most important factor for us is that the fruit/site is allowed to express itself in the wines. Darren’s role is to cajole and steer the wines through their journey to bottle, only assisting when required allowing the vineyard and the qualities of the fruit and vintage to shine through. Utilisation of indigenous yeasts, natural malolactic fermentation and extended time on skins are all hallmarks of the Bromley style. Our wines should be intense, vibrant and savoury offering an experience in texture and structure with tannins and acidity driving the palate. Wines to be enjoyed with food and friends or in isolation with a view!

Deep garnet in appearance with a bright hue, the bouquet is ripe and perfumed with an array of scents ranging from dark cherries and plums to spice. This is complemented by sappy whole bunch notes and cedar oak. The palate is masculine and complex with dense flavours of red plumes, cherries and spice. This flows through to a sappy and earthy mid palate with a long cedar oak finish. Firm acid and fine grain tannins gives this wine wonderful structure which will allow it to age gracefully over the next 8 to 10 years.
