Poggio Al Sole Canaiolo 2019 ItalyPoggio Al Sole Canaiolo 2019 A red wine full of floral fragrances
Davaz family produces an IGT wine with the floral name Canaiolo (former Trafiore) among the other seven wines in the Poggio al Sole assortment. And this wine is flowery in the most true sense of the word, because “Trafiore” means “between the flowers”. It may be thanks to the many flowers blooming between the vines at Poggio al Sole but not at least because of the organic cultivation of the vineyard. Or perhaps the name comes from the fact that Trafiore is a red wine made from 100% Canaiolo grapes. And this variety is known for having a fragrant note. Canaiolo is also an autochthonous grape variety of Tuscany and it is actually very often used as an addition to Chianti Classico, in order to give the sometimes rough Sangiovese rounder and softer edges and curves, but also a good fragrance. But back to Trafiore: only about 2,200 bottles are produced annually. The red wine undergoes the vinification and ageing process in steel tanks. And the result in the bottle is a young, drinkable wine that suits many occasions. No matter whether it is for a nice Italian dinner or just for chatting with friends. One thing is for sure: you can hardly get more Tuscany in your glass.

THIS IS OUR LITTLE PRINCE, THE WORTHY HEIR OF THE ILLUSTRIOUS TREBBIANO DI SOAVE: AN HISTORICAL GRAPE VARIETY THAT HAS ALMOST BEEN FORGOTTEN, IS OFTEN MISUNDERSTOOD AND CONFUSED. MASSIFITTI IS THE RESULT OF A LONG AND ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY THAT WE EMBARKED ON AT THE ORIGINS OF THIS ANCIENT TREBBIANO IN ORDER TO REDISCOVER ITS CHARACTER AND AUTHENTIC NATURE. THIS WINE, BORN AND BRED ON FITTÀ BASALT, IS A TRIBUTE TO OUR LAND AND ITS HISTORY OF WHICH WE ARE THE GUARDIANS.

Suavia is the ancient name for soave. In fact, soave by name, soave (suave) by nature. The name containes our destiny. Because soave is everything we do. Our roots reach deep down into this black soil that feeds our great white wines. Our wines are made from this contrast and from the harmony that comes from the union of opposites. We specialise in soave and, like all professionals, we do nothing else. We are staunch white wine makers, or rather staunch soave makers.
Tamellini Soave 2020 Soave Italy
Tamellini Soave 2020 Soave ItalyTamellini Soave 2020
Straw yellow colour, intense, fragrant and floral nose, intense and velvety flavour with a note of almonds.
The Tamellini family has been cultivating vineyards for four generations, but it is only in 1998 that the two brothers Gaetano and Pio Francesco decided to found their own winery. They wanted to create something different, more noble, a unique Soave on the market. Since then Gaetano takes care of the growth and production of the vineyards and Pio instead transforms the grapes in the prestigious wine Tamellini. The trust in a wine produced as it was done at the origins in Soave, has created the particularity of our company. The garganega, Soave’s vine, and the non-use of barriques or large barrels has characterized the particularity of our wine right from the start.
