TASTING NOTES: Straw yellow colour with aromas of ripe fruit, citrus, and floral notes. An elegant full bodied wine with flavours of ripe fruits and citrus with balanced acidity.

APPELLATION: Collio Goriziano.

VINEYARD: Tenute Marco Felluga.

GRAPES: Pinot Blanc, Tocai Friulano, Ribolla Gialla.

AGEING: 6 months in stainless steel barrels, followed by 1 month bottle.

PREPARATION: After harvest by hand, the grapes are subjected to a stripping process and pressed, followed by a short maceration at controlled temperatures Contact your skin. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel barrels, with the addition of selected yeasts. After a period of maturation, the wine is filtered and bottled, where you will spend a month in refining before being marketed.

PAIRING: Appetizers, white meats, seafood, oysters, fish, salads, baked vegetables, risotto, pasta, creamy desserts.

TEMPERATURE: 6-8 °C

From the sea to the land: a vocation for wine that has been cultivated for generations
The Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore companies are two prestigious wineries of the Collio that find in their relationship with wine – which began over a hundred years ago, in the second half of the 1800s, in Istria – what can be considered a true dynasty of winemakers, which has been able to exploit the potential of some grapes and areas suited to vines.

In the Thirties, after the First World War, Giovanni Felluga decides to move to Friuli and more precisely to the Collio. Marco, the penultimate of Giovanni’s seven children, continues the family business and founded the company of the same name in 1956. The path of innovation, quality and research is due to him, trained from an early age at the prestigious Conegliano school of oenology.

The balance with which he has managed to use innovation and tradition has made his company a point of reference for the whole territory. Today, his son Roberto continues on the path of absolute quality, representing the fifth generation and who today leads both companies: Marco Felluga in Gradisca d’Isonzo (Gorizia) and Russiz Superiore in Capriva del Friuli (Gorizia) .
