Stephane Usseglio Fragments Chateauneuf Du Pape 2019
$79.95
Stephane Usseglio Fragments Chateauneuf Du Pape 2019
Savoury and spicy with a backbone of ripe black fruits. No oak work with bright acidity.
After moving from Italy to Chateauneuf-du-Pape in 1931, Francis Usseglio eventually took over a vineyard, producing his first wines in 1949. It wasn’t until 1962 that Francis established his own vines, and in 1963 the domaine was taken over by Francis’ son, Raymond, and daughter-in-law Danielle. In 1999, at only 22 years of age, the domaine then became managed by Raymond’s son Stephane. The Usseglio vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic, illustrating their desire to care for the ecosystems in which they operate. They produce a broad range of wines, from easy-drinking table wines up to premium reds and whites.
